Monday night: Longwood Gardens did not happen due to weather. Instead my sister and I knocked out several things on our “To Do” lists by going to the Mall and hitting Target for groceries after.
Also got the Chanukah gifts all wrapped and ready.
Positives: Splitting a Veggie rich Salad Works Salad for dinner and walking around the mall
Semi-Negatives: Forgetting to ask for less dressing. Eating two cookies instead of just one/Not as much walking as the gardens would have been and not getting home in time for an actual workout.
Tuesday: Chanukah Dinner went very well! I really enjoyed myself and the friends that hosted us are such warm and wonderful people. I had lamb and actually liked it. I had tasted it a few times before but thought it was gross but this was surprisingly good. Broccoli knish was Very amazing.
Positives: While waiting for BF to get home from work (I had about 30 minutes alone in his house) I put on music and did aerobic dancing for a little over 15 minutes. I used the other 15 minutes to clean myself back up. Usually I would have let the time crunch prevent me from doing it, but I knew it was NEEDED.
Negatives: I went a bit Nutz over the cheese platter! I had WAY too much! It was so good and instead of moderating I just scarfed it down!
Wednesday: Started the day with the Donut that I was made to take home from the Dinner. Yummy. I could have skipped it. I wanted it. I figured it would be my only Bad of the day. I was a little wrong. I sampled a few more treats throughout the day that come into the office, but really didn’t go crazy and I had a healthy lunch. Was my night in with the BF so I went to his house. We had a lovely night cuddled in front of the TV watching Big Bang Theory on Netflix.
Positives: Morning weigh in proved I was still holding steady. 0.2 pounds less than Monday. Fit in another 15min workout similar to the one the night before. It was actually longer because he texted to say he was running late and instead of rushing to clean up I let the music play and continued to dance around his house for a bit. I only logged the 15 minutes because it was the only “controlled” workout potion.
Semi-Negatives: 2 Beers & 2 slices of his homemade deep dish Pizza. I was going to suggest a light stir-fry for dinner, but the reason he was late was that he had stopped at the grocery store so he could make me pizza (he remembered me saying the night before that I had been having Pizza cravings) and was so very pleased with himself! I don’t even want to know how many calories were in that.
Thursday: My Mother was supposed to arrive today and the BF was going to take us out to dinner. She however, caught a stomach bug and is waiting till tomorrow to arrive. (still worried a bit about the visit) He still wants to take me out, but he is picking me up at my place and I will have about an hour at home first. I plan to get 30 minutes on the treadmill and then a shower. Please, let the traffic cooperate (long commute) and my will power stay in place!
Update: Got in 20 minutes of exercise instead of 30 due to traffic. A victory in many ways because I almost didn't do it at all because I was so tired when I got home.
Ate way too much.
Not sure I will get to report again in full till Monday!
We will see how I handle the challenging weekend. I know the food situation is going to be a mess but I will try to enjoy yet keep it from spiraling out of control. Still plan to cram in those fitness minutes wherever I can!
