I am going to try and make this a less stressful Christmas by ensuring that I follow these 3 rules.
1 - Make sure I get all my Christmas gift buying done in plenty of time, no running around at the last minute panic buying! I'm already part way with this, but there are still a couple of gifts that I haven't bought and don't really know what I'm getting.
2 - Planning what I'm going to eat. I'm following the WW plan, and it's very easy to slip into old habits and just eat loads and work out the points/calories afterwards and then realise how much you overate and feel guilty. This year will be different.
3 - I am going to get in a run on Christmas morning. I have done this for the past couple of years now, and it's just lovely! After dinner I will also go for a walk with the dogs. So the third rule is exercise. It can be easy to forget to work out over the festive period, but it makes you feel good and it will help counteract some of the indulgences!
