After returning from a trip where my mom gained some weight, and my own struggle to keep up during the holidays, this idea sounded very enticing. I realize now that this attitude is not going to help things, and may open the door to a binge. Instead, I'll start off the day with 10 minutes of exercise, more for motivation. I'll look at what my day brings, and try and adjust. Last night at a party, I did well to fill the plate half way with salad, but find myself regretting the pie. Today, I have two celebrations. I'll allow myself desert at the luncheon, and be more frugal at the dinner. And breathe, then get up and do 10 minutes again.
