meatloaf saves the day

Thursday, December 13, 2012

yesterday started out good with a fruit smoothie, packing lunch, and dinner cooking in the crockpot.

the only extra i had was a diet dr. pepper who got away before i could get a photo.

i was still in calorie range, and then when i got home i went wild eating everything in site.

yes, i ate the whole fridge.

i'm not making this a motto, but it will do for a day: "2 out of 3 ain't bad"

Seems like you might need more food earlier in the day.

And, pre-plan dinner and have it mostly ready when you need it.

You are one step ahead because you RECOGNIZED!!
The more you work at this, the further apart the binge-eating will happen :)

P.S. more protein & less carbs might help with the binges.

I found I was doing that, but it was because I wasnt packing enough protein into my day. Add a greek yogurt for afternoon snack along with some veggies (celery and carrot are always in my fridge, but an apple or some grapes are good too - you want the fiber to go with the protein)

And there is nothing wrong with a soda once in a while as long as you are still within your calorie alotment. I'm not a big soda drinker, but DH is, so I know how difficult a habit it is to give up. Once I started stocking flavored seltzer cans, I noticed the soda consumption dropped enormously.

Well, now you can't do that again if your fridge is empty! It's a new day, that is the great thing, just take a deep breath and keep on going.

I don't normally suggest this but perhaps your fridge needs a prong collar until it learns not to come after you like that. Metal leashes on the handles sometimes work too! emoticon

Hope that bad boy behaves today and you have a WONDERFUL day!

Oh dear! That fridge DOES look intimidating! I'm sure you were overpowered by it and had no choice! Perhaps if it were a pink fridge.......but would probably just be more passive aggressive then.

I'm SURE you'll do better today! emoticon
