I have been fighting soda for a long time knowing that simply just giving up the soda would make a big difference in my life.
I had made plans before. You know, well I am going to cut back one soda at a time and then poof, they would be gone. The only thing is, it would never happen. Now, don't misunderstand me, I have given up soda from time to time. But, I always start again. Here I am today...I realized that I can't do the cut back thing. There are always good excuses to have an extra one. and to stop cold turkey...well that comes with massive withdraw for several weeks.
So, here we go again. This time a little different. I figure, if I cut out the soda, I cut out the sugar and carbonation and that will help alot.
But what about the caffeine. That is my BIG problem. I have decided to take caffeine supplements to ween off the caffeine. I did a bit of research and figured out exactly how much caffeine is in what I have been drinking. I was excited to find out that I get to start out cutting the tablet in half. Yahoo!!
I will have a fourth to a half each time depending on what I would normally drink. I am a little embarrassed but, this way I don't have the excuse that I need a soda or else I am going to get sick. Each time I take one, I shave a bit more off. I already cut out one of the fourths. I hope in one box, I can completely be off the caffeine.
Good bye calories and bloat from that ole nasty poison!!
