I'm posting this for the White Tigers Biggest Loser Team Challenge...
Stress is part of life... it happens. Women are big stressers. Dieting is stressful.
So when I step back and realize that, it helps a little. But my plan for dealing with stress is:
1. Tell someone. I tend to keep it in, but that's not a healthy way to deal with it. I'll blog on SP or talk to my Honey or my Sister. I'm very blessed to have people I can go to in my life. And I'm grateful for SP and for all of the great ladies who are working on many of the same things I am.
2. Exercise. I just feel better when I'm exercising. It relieves my stress to sweat. Even just going for a walk helps a lot.
3. Clean while listening to loud music! One of my favorite things to do...really. Since my teenage daughter isn't at home right now, I love to listen to MY music as loud as I want. I put my iPod on shuffle and let it blast. When she is home I have to skip the bluegrass songs. I love all kinds of music so I have a great mix but she can't stand bluegrass. I can go from Heart to Daler Mendi to The Frames to Roses Pawn Shop and never skip a song. Huge stress reliever for me
