First ITC (Inter team challenge) with New Year New You Winter 2013 Amethyst BLC Team

First official weigh in for Winter 2013 Amethyst BLC team was today pleasantly surprised at 143.6 pounds Which then leads to the 1st ITC of the challenge Simply is to find 3 ways to manage stress during this season.

My 3 things to manage my stress ( lord knows I have stress I work in retail)

1. Listen to relaxing mediation music on my MP3 Player and carry it with me at work for breaks.

2. Make my daily to do list Plan ahead for my daily routine ( and yes place going ot the gym on my list at least 4 times a week)

3. Sleep get 6 to 7 hours of sleep nightly.

4. Read my scriptures daily.

Yes I have 4 ways I plan to help reduce stress for me during this time of year.

Bonus part of ITC is put them into action then report back on how I did

    I have a LOT of stress lately so I have found a way to channel it into exercise and heavy cleaning during those times and also volunteer work at my church; it really helps :) emoticon emoticon

    You, my dear, are on a roll. I thought maybe you would take a break, but I guess the half-month IS a break for you!!!

I am still not ready to commit to all that extra stuff yet. I have enough challenges working on my daily challenges! HAHA

    All good ways to help you handle the stress. I worked retail for a long time and I know how stressful holiday season gets, I'm glad you have a plan.

    Linda, you are definitely one of the most thoughtful women I know. This is a great plan! I especially like the listening to music as that is such a good way to calm down and bring back some quiet (or not so quiet) joy!
