I'm Still Here

I hate to admit it, but it's been a couple of months since I made any real effort with respect to my health. Somehow I've managed to maintain my weight, despite eating irresponsibly and being laaaaaazy.

I set a goal to reach in November prior to going on my cruise. It was very attainable, but about a month before the trip I just gave up.

I had such an amazing time on cruise that 10 days after my return, I booked another cruise for the end of January 2013. Now I have the same goal, just a new deadline.

One of the things I had been looking forward to was fitting more comfortably in the airplane seats. I was a little disappointed to discover that I did not find the plane to be any more comfortable than I did 50 lbs ago. I'm not even sure how I fit back then. C'est la vie. By next summer it'll be a different story.

The pictures from the trip turned out great. I've been so used to looking at photos from a trip and liking maybe 1-2 of myself. I liked almost all of them this time. It was a nice change.

I got sick during my trip. I was finally mostly feeling like a normal person again, but this morning I feel kind of awful. But I have a goal to reach, so no more laying around.

    I think it's great that you have been maintaining though, because even if you say you have been eating poorly and stuff, it shows that you are still doing at least something right, because if you fully went back to your old habits you would be gaining weight, that is definitely something to be proud of!

I'm sorry the airplane seats weren't more comfortable, but totally awesome that you were able to like most of the pictures, that is definitely a huge benefit to getting healthier! :D emoticon
