Healthy Christmas Wishlist

Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Just realized all of the items on my Christmas wish list have to do with health and/or fitness.

Look at my Christmas wish list:

*Sunscreen, lip balm (burnout.com) -- lipbalm with SPF is good for outdoor running. I just discovered this brand. It's non chemical, 18.6% Titanium Zinc, physical sunscreen.
Gotta protect myself while running/walking outdoors! Yes, we have sun right now--on Sunday I had to keep applying sunscreen.

Lululemon gift card (Lululemon.com) --my favorite workout clothes! These days I get more excited about a running jacket or a pair of running crops than I do about new clothes. I don't need anything right now but a gift card wouldn't hurt.

*Vitamins (Vitacost.com) I haven't been taking a multivitamin in a while. I would like to order B-vitamin, too--my eye was twitching yesterday!
My diet is good but I would like to make sure I'm getting enough vitamins, especially B for stress.

*Yoga mats for me and my daughter (Amazon, Gaiam) --my daughter likes to stretch with me and she doesn't have her own mat. I think she would be so excited to get her own! Since I joined the YMCA I want to have a mat for the classes I take there and a mat for home. Much easier than cleaning it every time

I have a couple other items on my wish list--get my eye brows waxed/shaped and some perfume (Chloe). But those are lower priority--not as important as the others!

What items are on your wish list?

    Very nice, healthy list!!

I LOVE Lululemon too! It's a treat for sure, but I usually buy a couple of new things each year.

Your healthy list is a great reflection of your healthy priorities!

Great Wish List. I love the yoga mat for your daughter.

My Wish List... well not much. The only thing I asked for was a sweater from The Loft and a Hot Tools Curling Iron. However, after Christmas I am going shopping for myself to get some new workout clothes.

    Nice list! Good girl!
I asked for 'Pearl' by Avon. Someone passed on theirs that was near empty and I fell in love with it.
THe yoga matt for your daughter is fantastic. Start now hooking her up with her own stuff. Before ya know it they're breaking into your cosmetics and leaving you NOTHING to work with.

I was started on OMEGA 3 by my optomistrist for dry eyes. I'm so thankful for vitamins. I can feel the difference after 3 days.

My list...um...you're the first one to ask.
*Pearl perfume
*Gift cards to walmart. (That covers make-up, and needle crafts)
*LED hula hoop
Then I go off listing home improvement things.

Have a fabulous week, Rachel!

We are so much a like! I always have mainly fitness related stuff on my list... New DVDs, workout clothes... This year I asked for a good pair of 15# dbs since the ones I have are the ones you screw the plates on the end and it makes them longer. I'm always worried about knocking the weights into my knees when doing certain types of squats, lol. Whenever I go to TJMaxx I end up walking out with some type of workout clothing item rather than regular clothes (no wonder "I never have anything to wear!") I guess it's just more fun for me to shop for workout clothes than regular, lol.

I just purchased one of my own gifts and it arrived last week. I got a new Fitbit One. Love, love, love it! I got one for two of my kids and one Zip for one of my assistant principals. I like your list though too. I love new workout clothes and new running shoes. I need sets for the states and sets for Germany. It makes one less thing to pack.

These are wonderful things. I guess mine is something I have to do for myself . I want to keep getting healthier and off all the meds. I can. But most of all I wish for everyone to remember what Christmas is all about. Have a Merry Christmas.

What a great wish list! So funny, I have some fitness things on mine, too. Included are a Fitbit, baselayer tops, and gift cards to Dick's Sporting Goods and/or REI. Amazing how healthier living changes what we ask for, isn't it?

I have over the past five years or so suggested that people who are inclined to give me a gift make it disposable (read edible) or useable like a massage or a mani-pedi rather than more tzchachkis (I just know that is spelled wrong) that just take up space and create clutter. Your list is of this genre.

Make Today a Great Day!
