DH Blood work is now normal, no-one knows for sure why the liver was in such a state but it has been going down and now it has normalised.

Good news because that might have altered the surgery plans. Pre-op will be next week so that made the day much brighter. DH did drive both ways and he enjoyed being outside. The cold wind made his face very painful but once we got back in to the vehicle it seemed to calm down.

My visit was not very productive now I have to try to find a good topical analgesic,
I have some from the botanical healer that I have not tried. I will do that tomorrow since I do need sleep. If it bothers it I can try it in my waking hours I do need to lie down. I have been sitting all day and only did Coach Nicole's Video with the ball.
I actually like that one I am getting much better balance by doing the ball videos and it is much softer than the Yoga mat, I do what I can and it helps to keep going.

I bought a neoprene face mask that will allow me to walk in really cold weather. My fleece face mask is warm but after 4 miles t oes get wet. This neoprene had vents for the nose and the moth so there will be very little condensation. I am so happy we stopped in Freeport at L L BEAN.

I was anxious to try it and I wore it in the car, i put on my peaked hat with ear flaps and the two overlap. I feel sure my walking buddies might want to but one also. we all had face issues in last weeks wind.
I am hoping DH feels well Friday we are hoping to have a girls afternoon tea in Freeport so they can check my face mask out and if they wish we will go there again so they can buy theirs.
Off to Bed Pat in Maine.

Good to hear DH's labs are normal! It could have been elevated due to medications? Anyway, glad all is well & moving forward! And Pat, I give you so much credit for dealing w/the cold the way you do! I loathe cold weather & couldn't tolerate it, not for one minute! The face mask sounds just right for you though...& should do the trick!

I'm so glad that your husband's liver enzymes are back to normal. That was pretty scary! It must have been the tylenol. He will always have to be careful with it. It is so wonderful that he is driving and enjoyed himself again too. He has suffered way too long.

I hope you can find some adequate pain relief. For me it is always about trial and error and sometimes I luck out and find something that works.

That mask sounds great and like something I could use too.

I hope you can have that girl's day out. You really need it,GF. Love you! emoticon

Glad things are well with DHs blood work, that is good news!

I'm glad you are finding the ball workouts to be helpful with your balance! emoticon I need to get mine out, and just use it to sit on sometimes when my hips get to really bothering me (I think the baby is lying on my hips a lot at night).

Hope you got some rest and have a great day today!

So glad that things are going as planned for DH surgery. Your mask sounds like it just might be the right thing for you. I can't not stand to have my face cover but winter does not get as cold here as it does were you are. I guess that is lucky for me since I panic when my face is cover. Hope today is another good day for you. emoticon

I'm so glad DH's liver is OK and he can go ahead with his surgery. That face mask sounds great. We often wear one but as you said it gets wet, so this sounds like the ticket with some vents. Let me know how it works.
