I am in week 2 of the Peak10 workout series. I am LOVING it! The music is fun and gets you pumped up. Some of the songs are the same ones that Chalene Johnson used in Turbo Jam. Michelle Dozios seems like a very genuine person in the videos. In some videos the instructor will have punchlines that they say throughout the workouts, and after doing the DVDs you memorize all of them and then they become kind of annoying. I have not noticed any of that so far! She seems to focus more on actually cuing you, and she does point out certain people in the video and tell you how much they lost doing Peak. Very inspiring! I love how it combines cardio with weights, and the workouts are an hour or less. I am already feeling like my abs are showing more definition, and my waist feels a little smaller. I can see a lot more definition in my shoulders.
I have been tracking all of my food through the myfitnesspal app, and that is going well. My husband is tracking on there as well, so we keep each other accountable. We did measurements and pictures at the beginning of the Peak10 program (although he is not doing Peak, he works out at a gym). I am excited to see the difference when we do them again at week 8!
I have a friend that comes over about once a week to workout with me, and she has done 2 of the Peak10 workouts and really enjoyed them as well. A friend at work bought the series shortly after I was telling her about them and she said she loves them, too. I hate to say this (because I am a HUGE Chalene Johnson fan!!) but I almost think they're better than Turbo Fire and ChaLEAN Extreme (GASP!!! LOL)
