crazy lady

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

I think I lost my way there for a while and it was making me crazy. But the good thing about this crazy episode, and there have been many, is that I think I've found my way back without gaining 50 pounds. I finally stepped on the scale this morning and I had a lovely surprise! I was expecting to see another gain but instead I've gone down and I've almost lost 30 pounds. Yay!

I had read here on SP that maybe the best plan for the holidays is to not aim for weight loss but to just maintain and I thought that was a good tip. I decided to give myself some leeway and allow myself some extras, like mashed potatoes and the other day I had some pizza and the day before that I had some chocolate kisses. Better a few kisses than a crazy lady.

Thanks! Although I just measured myself and I've gained inches in some areas so I'm confused.

Us ladies need a kiss or two from time to time! And also pizza. Nice job eating what you want and losing weight too! You could sell your secret on how that's done for big bucks you know. When most of us try that, it doesn't work, and then we end up writing sad blogs like mine today. Maybe being crazy is the key. Though I tried that at Olive Garden and it didn't work for me. I think you're just lucky. Whatever your secret, it's good; congratulations on your weight loss! emoticon
