So bought some new food items this week trying to eat a little cleaner, a little fresher!
so I got some cauliflower and red beans, two items that never see my refrigerator!
I roasted the cauliflower (awesome!) but I'm not sure what to do with the beans... I'm really not a fan of slow cooking them... so I was thinking of cooking them up with more veggies in the oven... I'll see.
Saturday I kind of had a free day or splurge day, something I'm not a huge fan of, but I'm ready to see some results... honestly I'm ready to be done with trying to loose weight all together!! Anyway I could go into a whole blah fest but I'm not! Anyway!!! It was a planned day I could have sugar and Chinese food if I wanted, I had pancakes for breakfast, and a little ice cream, didn't have any Chinese though, which is fine. Oh and I made a pecan pie.
It's funny because Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I needed an afternoon nap! Something I haven't needed in quite some time! Honestly by the end of the day I felt physically sick, tired, and chubby!!! I don't really miss the sugary stuff! I would much rather plan in a little bit of "fatty" foods then have a day weekly or biweekly to have as much as I want! It's funny, the more I try to change what I've been doing the more I realize it's not broken! But I did want this free day because I'm still on a sugar fast until March. I'm learning a lot on this fast though!
I'm so much more than this body
As long as I'm humble and turn to God instead of do it all in my own power it's a God honoring day!
Well nap time will only last so long and I still need to do a core workout!!!
