As part of a challenge in my PNP team, we are to write two blogs this week on how we are staying healthy during this holiday season.
We all have different ways of keeping healthy and sometimes I come to a day when I fail to meet my expectations. Every December I start to stress about the holiday season. I am so afraid that I am going to gain back the weight that I have lost, and I am afraid that if I gain any weight back, I won't lose it again. In other words, I don't relax enough to truly enjoy the spirit of the season. After all, the spirit of the season is what it is truly all about.
This year, with the help of my PNP, I have not stressed one moment. I pick and choose my treats, and so far all is going just as well as any other month of the year. In other words, I am truly enjoying the Spirit of the Season for the first time in several years.
