OMG! After raising two children I can so relate to this. You are so right...you never pee alone until they finally grow up.

(I distinctly remember it was 1992 when I had my first audience when I needed to pee).

You have learned the truth about having kids.
Kids are for always to infinity for sure (as well as never peeing alone)!

The worst -- and best -- moments in life come from our kids.

I do recommend being a parent, though. It is the single most important job in the world. The toughest and the most rewarding.

We grow and learn from our kids. They teach us about love for a lifetime.

Loved it! I tell everyone that I'm only having kids if I can lock them in the garage with some toys for the day like I do with my dogs :-) Usually convinces most people I shouldn't have them emoticon

What an amazing blog, I was laughing out loud! Have two kids, now teenagers can relate to EVERY single thing you experienced. It's good to do a puppy AND a kid test before you commit.

I don't need anymore reasons, but I do need to convince others that my decision is OK. Misery loves company, and a lot of parents want you to be miserable too!

A few years ago when Ann Landers permitted people to say anonymously whether they would have kids if they could decide all over again -- some huge per centage said "No." They would not.

See?

My modest proposal: distribute a universal birth control medication in the drinking water. And require people to pass a really really stringent test/practicum before they get the antidote.

That should do it.

(Your blog is funny as heck. And: SOOOOOOO true!!).

No, it never ends, that's for sure. Kids are much more fun when they are grown up, make their own money, and finally realize that you know a thing or two. I still have one who is just young enough to think he knows more than I do. His newest favorite phrase it "I'm an adult" because he turned 18 in Oct. News flash: That birthday doesn't make you an official adult. You actually need to act like one too.
You had me laughing out loud with this one.
