This and that...and that...and that (including the Brooks Dyad review)!

So much to report on today, I don't know where exactly to start! I guess I'll have to go in chronological order:
1. Work was nuts for me yesterday. The main computer server that handles the network drives for my office was having MAJOR issues, so I couldn't access some of the files I needed in order to submit some information to Medicare for a big deadline. Fortunately, I figured out another way to skin that cat (though certainly NOT Leela or Sugar Baby!) and get everything submitted...with a couple of hours to spare. WHEW!
2. Got my caliper measurements done like I do every 4 weeks at the gym. My fat percentage went down another 2.1% in the past 4 weeks! So I'm at 32.1% body fat, which gets me deeper and deeper into the normal range for a woman my age (over 40). Apparently, the area I need to work the most on for fat loss is my biceps. Guess tomorrow will be STOP! Hammer curl time!
3. Found out that I was voted a SparkPeople Motivator! WOW! I feel VERY honored that people voted for me to have that title, when all I've been doing is just telling my story. THANK YOU.
4. Tried out the Brooks Dyad 7s that I bought Saturday (see my previous blog). I was actually a bit more comfortable in them than the Asics for my run today (though it was a mile shorter - 6.2 miles rather than 7). They are a little on the heavy side, but that's what I'm used to, especially with the New Balance 1540s I was running with. So I think that the Brooks will be for the longer runs I do and the Asics will be for the shorter ones. My time this morning? 59:35. I'm happy with that.
