All safe now

I got my photo shoot done yesterday. Knowing your being photographed for a weight loss shoot on a monday is kind of a killer for a weekend. Even tho I still screwed up and ate too much on Saturday. Oh well I think the photos went well. I went shopping with a friend on Sunday and found 3 outfits to wear. All in the sale area. I can't imagine buying anything full priced at the mall. Shirts your supposed to layer with are 29 bucks each, HA! I went looking for pants thinking hey why not splurg. As usual could not find petite very easily and everytime I did, my thighs wont fit in sizes I thought should fit. Left depressed. Went to goodwill, Found brand new looking pants, in petite, in the size I knew I was. I don't know why I go anywhere else for jeans. Goodwill is kind of hit or miss for pants. But I always leave in much better spirits and much more money on my debit card. I never learned how to layer until I started going to goodwill. You can actually afford to layer there.

Exercise has been good! I am 8 miles away from hitting my 500 miles run mark! Sunday Scott wanted to bike to his work to get an adapter. We biked 11 miles in 37 degree rain. Burned 500 calories doing so. Fun little trip and I took my folding bike.

Eating has been good too. Trying to drop weight for these photos I got back to basics. Much more fruit. Actually striving to hit 1700-1800. I haven't had anything to work towards in so long. It's hard to stay motivated when there's no goals in the distance. My goal for the past yr was just to find a middle ground. Stop over exercising, stop overeating. Just find a normal person place lol I think I did pretty good. I have been sticking to a 3000 calorie burn each week. It's probably more than some people but it's not that hard to reach. Especially since I have been moving boxes a lot at work lately and I time it and log it.

Happy Chanukah you guys! I hope everyone is having a great holiday! You will get a kick out of this. My FIL tries so hard, he's so sweet. He googled "Where to buy gifts for Chanukah". Evidently Barnes and Noble is paying to answer this question on google cuz I got a Barnes and Noble gift card haha My cousin on my dads side is not Jewish, his dad married outside. Anyway he goes all out with Christmas lights. He sync's music to lights and this yr he got 3 of his neighbors involved, here is a video. Prepare to be dizzy.

I am so frugal. I just hate to pay much for clothes at all any more.

It sounds like you are doing great! I look forward to seeing the new pictures!

Had a laugh on your cousin's light show. They are really cool but remind me of my hubby who thinks he would like to do this too. he has no patience and it's hard enough to get him to put the lights up, letting alone add more work to it.

I couldn't agree more with your thoughts on Goodwill. I can't afford to shop anywhere else! I've had pretty good luck at the Mission Mart here in town, too.

Great video! We have a neighbor a few blocks from here who does that too! Just his house though, no neighbors involved. :)

Happy Chanukah, Julie!
