Catch up time...

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

Things were quiet here on Sunday. I was just a bit under the weather but I know tomorrow will be a new day!!! I still managed to drink my water along with some hot tea, ate healthy, rode my recumbent bike and walked on the treadmill. It continued to rain here with a chance of snow on Tuesday. The rain has been really messing with my sinus...causing me some issues. But I am not a fan of the cold and not ready to shovel snow yet. LOL!!!
I am feeling a little better today but my back and neck will be glad to see the chiropractor on Wednesday morning. So tired of the rain we have been getting day and night for the last week but I'm so not looking forward to the snow we are supposed to get tomorrow along with the cold and winds. LOL!!!
McKenzie was home from school today as she was running a fever and had a sore throat with a lot of coughing. I'm still waiting to hear how she is feeling tonight. Praying that she recovers quickly. My days are really quiet without her.
Have a great week as you build to a wonderful month!!! Remember to hug your loved ones and share your smiles daily. A smile may just be what someone needs to make their day and it is so easy to share them. Share your smiles with those you see today and even when answering your phone. It does come across in your voice if you are smiling.
Blessings, love and hugs,
Helen

Wishing you and darling Mckenzie a speedy recovery! i sure hope you do not get the snow!!
It has been snowing off and on and very cold with strong winds for the last two weeks. No end in sight and the roads are impassible for a scooter -my poor neighbor got stuck four times just trying to make it across the street to the mall with her big scooter -fortunately, there were good people around to help push her out. There have been bad times for vehicles too -multiple accidents as cars lose control on the icy, rutted streets -the snow clearing crews can't keep up with all that keeps falling. I saw a car swerve into a snow berm just walking home from the club, and when I went to the mall, the wreckage of a pedestrian controlled walk light was laying across the sidewalk and the indentation of the car's front end was clearly seen on the large pile of snow. Dark dreary days, and I am missing very much my fitness classes, but am perserving with my favorite DVD's at home.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

From one Helen to another, things will get better. The sickness has been going around. We got a light snow on sunday but not bad yet. I am not a fan of the white stuff either. Trying to keep up with the threadmill here. Seems like things are so busy right now chasing after grandkids. Iowa isn't bad but we are headed to Wisconsin and they say they got more snow so not sure what we will be going into. Be gone 4 days then back home on Saturday.

Get well and feel better. emoticon

Hope McKenzie feels better soon. Be glad of the rain, we need it badly out here in KS. I'm not sure of the winter wheat crop, we need rain and have not had any just a few drops every time. Well thank God that He is in control! Hope you have a great day!

Sending you lots of healing energy for your whole family.

Please send us some of your rain, because Australia is looking pretty dry at the moment.

Probably best not to send us some of your snow, as a white Christmas in the middle of summer might just freak out too many people here!
