A new week..New beginnings

I've decided that I need to start taking very small baby steps to reach my goals.

Last week I tried doing a few yoga poses. It was very difficult to hold the pose. Kept losing my balance, but I plan to try it again this week. Practice is the only way we get better.

I also continued to work on reducing my clutter. Gave all my Christmas wrapping paper to a friend at work. She was happy to get it, I was glad I got rid of it. I have a bag of shoes, and
will hopefully have a bag of clothes this week, so I can give to charity.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I have an infection in my little toe. The nail is almost off.
It's black & I 'm worried about it, since I'm diabetic.

My plan for this week is to exercise for 10 minutes each day. Tonight I'm going to try a
QiGong DVD.

I'm still trying to stay positive. Some days are easier than others. I'm placing motivational quotes around my area, to help keep me focused. Not sure if it's working , but I'll try any way.

Taking my medication is a priority. I have a hard time taking so many pills. I am making a
little progress, but it needs to be 100% every day.

I plan to write in my gratitude journey each day, one thing that I'm grateful for.
Today I'm grateful that I'm getting my self back on track. Thankful for my Spark Friends
who encourage me to keep pushing on. Also glad that my emotional roller coaster ride is over, at least for now.

    Be sure to remember to be kind to yourself. What we tell ourselves is so important (especially if we don't think it is true) but you need to tell yourself anyway! "I will be successful. I am beautiful. I will overcome these obstacles. Things will get better. I am valuable. I am worth taking care of." Even if you don't believe it now. Keep telling yourself it is true (because it is!) and eventually you will start to believe!

    I find this time of year very hard to stay motivated. I also need to do the baby steps.

    You seem to have a lot on your plate... just remember to tackle 'one thing at a time' and be gentle with yourself too. Wishing you a fabulous day and week ahead!

    The beauty of this process is that every day could be a new start. There should be no failure here because what has happened can always be put behind. Your approach of baby steps is for the best. Improves your chances for success and makes sure you have the time to find the right steps. Believe me the steps will change as you move forward.
