TOM is late. I was sure I had a cyst again like I had earlier this year when I had no period for 5 months, but my SIL convinced me to take a test anyway. Apparently not a cyst!
I spent yesterday in shock. I mean, we weren't trying, but we weren't not trying either... I just wasn't mentally prepared!
We told our parents yesterday, but we are waiting to tell the rest of the family & friends right now since I am only 5 weeks or so. Not sure when we will share the big news yet. Hubby is more excited than I am right now. I am happy, but very much in shock! I just kept staring at that little stick like it had grown horns!
I guess this is a game changer for my Spark plans!
So, my QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU FIT MAMAS IS:
- How did your fitness routine change when you found out you were pregnant? Did you continue HIIT & listen to your body or did you dump HIIT all together for the time? What about ST?
I have read that it is ok (and even encouraged) to continue exercise through pregnancy & listen to my body to tell me if I am overdoing it, but I want to be cautious not to push too hard since I only started consistent exercise 2 weeks ago (when I was apparently barely pregnant & didn't know it). I want to do whatever is best for both of us.
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE feedback! I feel like I just got thrown in the deep end!
