This week's strategy

It's Monday and I still haven't tried out my new shoes. I put them on for a bit on Saturday and hopped onto our stationary bike for a few minutes. I also did some ab work. I worked out for a total of 30-45 minutes before the baby woke up from his nap. I was pretty happy with that especially since I rarely do any workouts during the weekend.

Today, I'm going to run (FINALLY) for at least 20 minutes before my core class. If it's raining I'll get on the eliptical. I hate doing cardio in the gym, but it's better than nothing. I really want ot try to get 4-5 days of cardio in a week. Hopefully that will keep the weight coming off. Of course, I'm going to keep doing my strength training classes and doing some extra ab work at night if I can.

This train is going to keep on rollin'!

PS. Do you ever realize how much harder it is to eat healthy when you're actually trying to do it? Seriously, when I'm not thinking about it I actually eat pretty well, but when I say to myself, "okay, we're goign to crack down on those little bad eating habits" every little piece of chocolate/sweat/delishiousness that I wouldn't typically want I now want. It's STUPID! But I will overcome my cravings.
