On July 4, 2010, I suggested that I needed to lose three sacks of potatoes (28.8 lbs) so I could run faster. It has taken me two years and five months to finally achieve this. Today, I weighed in at 179.2. Start weight was 208.8!
Bill and Evilklown, I did it!!!!
Hmmm...I guess that means I need a new challenge! This is all very exciting!! I'll be dropping and giving my 20 as soon as I can :)
Edit: In response to Evilklown's question, my running pace decreased from an average 13 minute mile to an average 10.5 minute mile for a total improvement of 2.5 minutes per mile!

I have three sack s of potatoes to drop. I mean, imagine you are running a mile and a half and you're trying to do it as fast as you can. Now imagine you're doing it toting three 10 lb sacks of potatoes!! Not so fast now are you?
Well, that's my goal. My first sack is only 8.8 lbs and the other two sacks are 10 lb each.
Sack #1 is coming off....I am really looking forward to dropping this sack and running a little faster :)
