Running..Day 3

Day 3 of running…(Why don’t I quit?) I upped my initial run which wasn’t as horrible as expected. I did manage to go 4.1 miles in 1 hour. I guess that is pretty good. The ½ mile jog was killer but it did get easier as I got into it. I noticed that I do drink a whole heck of a lot of water when I’m running (just shy of 64 ounces). So far, my legs don’t hurt as bad as they originally did. I shall wait and feel the pain tomorrow though…

    Wow, that is a lot of running. If your legs are bothering you, you might want to look up the Spark People begin running programs, it seems like you are doing a lot of distance and might be pushing yourself too hard. It is also a good idea to only run every other day ie. 3-4 times a week MAX. Run/walk segments seem easier to start out with when they are broken up into walk and run for time rather than distance. It is awesome that you want to run; enjoy yourself- run happy!
