I can do something about it

Sunday, December 09, 2012

One of the things this journey has taught me is that I can do something about things that affect my life - I can change things. I am not a victim. Blaming someone else does not help me make the changes I need. If I am unhappy about something, then there are steps I can take to change it. It is up to me and waiting for anyone else to do it means it most likely won't get done. I have to decide what it is I want and take steps to make that happen. It will take work - anything worth having does. But the reward will also be worth it. Complaining, worrying is a waste of time. Taking the time to decide what I want, making it a goal, and coming up with a plan to get there is a start. Actually working the plan, sticking with it, putting in the work necessary is the way to get what it is I want.

Sometime it is hard to recognize I , myself has to work on it for the things I want or need. No one will do it for me. I has to do it. Thanks for sharing. You are so right about what you've said. (^_^)

Remember you may get there by baby steps but you'll get there all the same.
