Now that I've figured out that my chronic headaches were being triggered by foods (wheat and berries), I'm working to avoid eating them. As we come into the holiday season, I fear this will become more difficult, as I will be going to parties and events where I may not have full control of my food.
To stay on top of this, I am volunteering to make and bring at least one item that I know I can safely eat. Since my biggest concern is desserts (as I have a terrible time saying no to sweets), I'm planning a gluten-free carrot cake for the family Xmas party, and gluten free coconut cookies for other events. I'm so glad I've been able to improve my life so dramatically just by adjusting what I eat!
