I'm hanging in there..son ordered pizza last night but I was good. Why are the weekends so hard. Need my Monday - Friday routine, but I'm stickin with it today.
Without the structure of the weekdays, we all have challenges on the weekend. I sometimes give myself "a day," not to completely lose it, but just to indulge a little. I find that the scale is fine by my weigh in time on Friday.
Weekends are hard for me as well. As a single, working mom, I use my weekly routine to be able to meet everyone's needs while following a busy schedule. The weekends give me an excuse to break the routine, and decompress. Unfortunately, breaking routine can mean not cooking and not training.
If this happens to you too, don't beat yourself up. Life is a gift and every day is a chance to restart.
