Snow in Dunedin, Florida!

Saturday, December 08, 2012

DSSECRETS, Granddaughter Gianna, and I went to the Dunedin Christmas Parade and Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration. I had to post these photos...

This is the money shot!

Add the crowd...

Throw the snow slide in...

...and we can still hit the beach in the morning!
Uh, you do know that white stuff is coming from a man-made snow blower!

This shot amazed me as Gianna just wanted to feel that snow touch her face. This is what I live for!

Happy Holidays, Y'all!

I lived in south Florida for 9 years (and wondering what I was thinking when I left??). One day a family that we knew rented a machine and had a snow party for the kids in the neighborhood. They had snowball fights, climbed hills of snow, got red cheeks and laughed non-stop! It was so great to see their faces! My kids were born up North, so they already knew all about snow! I can't wait to for the twins to get bigger and come to Chicago for their first snow - but I may have to rent a machine and send it to them down here! emoticon
