Day 55- End of the week

Today I looked back at my goals for the week. I am happy to report that I achieved all but one of them.

1) Eat within calorie range emoticon
2) drink minimum of 8 8 oz glasses of water per day emoticon
3) Monday 1 1/2 hours at the gym emoticon
4) Tuesday is working at my sons school - 12 miles on my feet day emoticon
5) Wednesday 1 1/2 hours in the gym emoticon
6) Thursday is my ministry emoticon
7) Friday 1 1/2 hours in the gym emoticon
8) Saturday ministry emoticon
9) Sunday FOOTBALL!! emoticon(well duh, the easiest goal to keep LOL)
10) stay off the scale except for wednesdays emoticon
11) eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies per day emoticon
12) try at least 2 new recipes for dinners emoticon We actually tried 8 new recipes this week!!! emoticon

As for not reaching the goal of staying off the scale except for on Wednesday, I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF!! I do not understand why I feel I have to check myself on Saturday morning, but every week when I get up to get ready for my ministry, I step on the scale. I know it's not because I am worried that something is wrong or that I have been bad, I think it is just the curiosity of how I'm doing ... what pace I am at for the week. I will try harder to not step on the scale!

As far as all the new recipes, they were all amazing!! Here is a list of what we tried this week:
1) Honey Garlic Pork Chops
2) Chef Meg's Vegetable Risotto
3) Chef Meg's Taco Seasoning
4) Tami's Easy Black Beans and Rice
5) Homemade Pico De Gallo that I made yesterday
6) Homemade Fresh Guacamole Dip that I made yesterday
7) Pauls Country Scramble that I made today for breakfast
8) General Tso's chicken Tami made tonight
All were super yummy! I can't wait to see what we try next!!
