I have rewritten my introduction.
It ain't pretty.
After 5 years, I am the same weight, less active and bored.
I spend some time traveling, I babysit for my adorable little grandson. I fit in some volunteer work. But I spend altogether too many days doing nothing. Sounds great when you are young and there are not enough hours in the day. Work, school, kids, activities, 24 hours is not enough. And you say, someday.....I'll be able to just kick back and relax. Too much relaxing is NOT a good thing.
So, here is what I am going to do for 2013:
First, I am going to try to get through the holidays with no weight gain. Then, I am setting these goals for 2013.
1) Rejoin the BLC, it keeps me honest.
2) Lose the dadgum 30 pounds once and for all.
3) Find an exercise routine that will accommodate my new aches and pains. Follow it consistently.
4) And finally, turn 65 without having to make these same resolutions for 2014.
