After no gym yesterday & just a few measly squats and calf raises (refer to yesterday's blog), I ROCKED the gym today! Tomorrow is my rest day, so I thought, why not really push myself today and earn that rest day? That's just what I did!
- 5 min treadmill warm up
- 20 min HIIT
- 5 min treadmill cool down
- 30 minutes ST: arms, shoulders, abs, back, legs
NUTRITION: breakfast was eggs scrambled in coconut oil w/ mushrooms & peppers, and also green tea w/ coconut oil. I will eat a healthy lunch & keep my body satisfied so that I can avoid eating too much this afternoon/night at the family Christmas party.
I am feeling to great about today! It's only been two weeks so I am trying to remind myself that I can't expect to see much change just yet, but Rome wasn't built in a day! I have made it through two weeks of consistency & the first two weeks are always the hardest!
I can FEEL the difference in my endurance and that is GREAT!!!!
