The scale didn't show a victory, but I did a lot of things right this week.

emoticon So, at my weekly weigh-in, the usual happened: I was expecting a smaller number. I had a 12 to 13 day "plateau" where the scale didn't move at all. I skipped 6 days, and weighed myself today. I was only down a half a pound. I hate how slow my body loses weight. But. I see tons of non-scale victories.

emoticon I drank 8 or more cups of water every day.

emoticon I met my protein goal every day. Not only that, but I surpassed it by at least 10g every day. Something I've never done before, and I did it all week!

emoticon I ate within 5 out of 6 nutrition ranges two days this week and ate within all 6 nutrition ranges the other five!

emoticon Met my cardio minutes goal this week and went over by 40 minutes (and that isn't even counting what I'll do today)

emoticon Met my strength minutes goal this week.

You're doing great! Just because the scale doesn't move as much as you would've hoped doesn't mean you aren't making progress! Way to go! emoticon

Those half pounds add up over time. Don't be discouraged, you're doing just fine!

The scale isn't everything. I get frustrated when the scale doesn't budge after doing everything right. But just keep focusing on those non-scale victories! You're doing fantastic!

GREAT JOB! You did VERY well, and most importantly, you kept that in mind even though you didn't see what you wanted on the scale. I will bet that you will see the fruits of your labor down the road soon. Sometimes, for unknown reasons, our bodies take more time to process our hard work than we want them to!

Looks like you are controlling what you can (your behavior) and letting the things you can't control (stupid scale!) go. Isn't that definition of wisdom?

And 0.5 lb down is better than 2lbs up, so horray!

You are doing fantastic, and the non scale victories are really important. Just keep on doing what you are doing the scale will respond!
