An Update At The Butt Crack Of Dawn!!

I am going to push forward and resist the temptation to get back in bed. I am determined to get this sleeping thing fixed so I gotta push on. If I have to take a short nap later, well so be it.

I have to get my food planned out this morning for the rest of the day so that I have snacks with me when I go with my daughter. Being away from home is NOT a license to eat junk! Here is one of the affirmations that the book I am reading gives...

I refuse to pollute my body by eating junk food, sugar, fried foods, and any other food that is unhealthy.

I like it. I think I will add the recommended affirmations to my cards and read them several times throughout the day.

I hope you all are having lots of success so far this month! emoticon emoticon

On a side note - It is now a requirement for me to include emoticon & emoticon in my blogs. So there you have it! lol Okay so there is only one person that will understand that but I had to put it in here somewhere. lol Okay so just ignore my silliness! lol

    Hi! I'm reading this Sunday night. I applaud your efforts to turn your sleep patterns around. I think (and as you know, I am no expert) that you are trying to do all at once what needs to be done over time. For instance get up one hour earlier than usual each night and go to bed one hour earlier each night. You may need to spend several days at that schedule, then go another hour earlier. It takes time to turn your body clock around. Be kind to yourself.
    The lighting wasn't so good in this video, but in the last one I was impressed with how bright your eyes looked. The whites of your eyes were so clear. This is a sign of improving health. So congratulations, and congrats on the 4 lbs. also. It really brightens my day when I see a new blog/vlog from you.

    I agree that you would be wise to have a sleep study done....they can really help you with this...wondering if you may have sleep apnea too???

    I know first hand how hard it is to change your sleeping habits, and when your body wants to stay up late and then sleep in later, and to turn it around is just so hard and I am so proud of you for trying to get things on track. emoticon

    I really think it would be awesome if you can stick with a routine (whatever that routine is) and it would be so fun to see your vlogs and to see you progress as you get used to these changes. emoticon

    You and I are two peas in a pod, I went to bad and was so sleepy but just could not fall asleep, super frustrating.

    I am confused..... I thought you could not do your vlog last night until after 10:30 which was going to mess up your pre determined sleeping schedule. But, later in your vlog it was mentioned that you went to bed at mid night and could not sleep.. Can you clarify...

    Hope you can get a sleeping/meal schedule together. You look exhausted. During the week when I'm working I have my 3 meals at basically the same times, but on the weekend I usually skip breakfast.

    Anyway, you're still doing great. 4 lbs down!! Congrats.
