My assignment: My biggest challenge this year. Blog about something that has given you the most trouble in your Spark Journey this year. What are you doing to overcome the problem? What changes have you made or are making?
I have gotten to me goal weight then gained back 10-20 pounds, lost part of it, then gained back a bit, and so on all year. My biggest challenge is ultimately in maintenance: Achieving satisfaction when I eat in moderation.
I already know I enjoy my food more when I eat when I’m actually hungry. But unless I’m tracking everything and not allowing myself “exceptions,” I tend to eat more than I need.
And though exercise helps me reign in my appetite, have more energy, and feel better, I still need to make the main focus on moderating my eating to maintain a healthy weight.
