Has 2012 been a hard year for you? It seems that it has been for many people, or maybe I empathize all too well because of events in my life and so notice it more.
I have always been a "glass half full" kind of gal, but I have had more than one time this year that I couldn't even find the darn glass.
After a while, I began to think that I really needed to address this problem, and as I thought about it, I began to think of the situation in Spark terms. I needed a goal...so I decided that I needed to do little things that made me feel better.
What were these things?
1. I bought a bath/shower gel with a scent that reminds me of happier times...each day I am reminded of these less stressful times as I use the gel.
2. I play with my new puppy. That yellow Lab face is just so inquisitive; she makes me laugh!
3. I enjoy a cup of hot white tea and think about a Sparkfriend and her wise counsel this year. I also think about my other Sparkseesters on a team that are enjoying a cup of white tea as well. The seesters are so much fun!
4. I use my very favorite house scents - it has to be laced with cinnamon this time of year!
