And it was a good day. I went to work but decide after getting there to take a the day off for my Birthday. So no work out and WAY over calories too! But you know...I'm not beating myself up about it. I enjoyed the day with hubby (he's off every Fri). We did a lot of walking at both Lowe's and Home Depot. We priced a new shower for our bathroom...YIKES...about 5K to do what we want. And that's Just for the shower! Today though hubby just replaced the faucet in our shower. That took all day. It's almost done but it is at the point that we can use it in the morning.

I heard from my mom, my son, my daughter, and my sister today. All wishing me a Happy Birthday. And lots of Birthday Wishes from Facebook and some here. I also got a great e card from BFF Calen! Thanks GF!! I also bought one slice of cake from Wal Mart, some extra frosting, and some ice cream for my self. I did share the cake with hubby.


We had the cops here today. When I came home, the house on the corner's front door was open. No one has lived there for months. The family that did live there moved to CA. We've seen no cars there, no lights on, nothing. So it was strange to see the door open. The cops (two of them, guns drawn!) went to check it out. They didn't find anything, so they locked the place up and said they would an extra drive by. After the truck, trailer, and race were stolen, we're a bit leery now.

So I'm going to waddle my one year older self off to bed!! TGIF everyone!!
