Another skunk

Saturday, December 08, 2012

About 10 days ago my border collie encountered a skunk. Tonight she did it again. Hubby has been held over in Salt Lake City. Lucky him getting a break. For me it takes away any desire to eat. Take heed, diet industry. The answer is right under our noses.

If you go to google and type in Skunk Antidote you will find something that
will work... it uses three ingredients..3% hydrogen peroxide baking soda
and dish soap Dawn is suggested you will have to check the amounts on-line..... judging by the comments it seems to work. Good Luck.

Oh my gosh. I had almost forgotten how our dogs used to love to harass skunks and get sprayed often when we lived out in the woods in Tennessee. Yuck, it's really bad. Hope it goes away soon, but I can understand the dieting benefits of it!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no! Once you smell a skunk you never forget it and always know immediately what it is. Sorry your dog had to be a dummy and try it again. Twice was twice too many!Good luck with the cleaning process.

Hahahaha!! Speaking of skunks ! I remember when I was a kid and we were walking the dog through the woods. I was with my grandparents and I being the curious one, We came accorss a hole and I just had to know what was in that hole ! I got down on my knees and stuck my head towards the hole and I tell you what, I got the surprize of my life ! That skunk came out of that hole backwards and let me have what fore !! And after this was done, my grandparents said to me, I could of told you what was in there ! THEY KNEW !! To this day, I am still very curious but I guarentee you, I will NEVER stick my head in a hole again ! Let me let you in on a little secret ! Stay AWAY from the SKUNKS ! Hugs, Rose:) emoticon

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!! They sure do smell bad. We sometimes are sitting in the house, windows closed and hear a commotion outside followed by their perfume coming thru the walls.
Your poor pooch and poor you!
