So, I've lost 4 pounds. Since Thanksgiving. Hmmm. Miraculously! Well, no. But, it's seemed much easier than in the past. For some reason, it seems different this time!
I've gone gluten free for breakfast and lunch (during the week definitely, on the weekends, as much as possible). I've also not been eating sugar. (Except for that emergency chocolate on Thursday...) I've literally passed up cookies, and cake (which is in my house), and pie. I've been exercising when I can. This week Monday, Wednesday and Tonight were open enough that I got some in. Yoga and recumbent bike. Planning for yoga tomorrow morning before my hair appointment (new color!).
And I even had someone at work ask me if I'd lost weight and was literally dumbstruck when I told her it was only a few pounds. She said it looked more like 15! Well...I guess the yoga is paying off! Even Edward said I looked slimmer, and he sees me all the time. :)
Soooo, yeah. Things are going well. Planning on trying some new quinoa recipes next week. Edward really enjoyed the first recipe, and it made enough for me to take for lunches for two days...even after he had seconds! Lots of bang for your buck! I'm thinking maybe a breakfast recipe would be fun this weekend... Stoked!
