On to the next goal!

Friday, December 07, 2012

I have succeeded in simplifying my schedule and commitments. I learned about minimalism and even started applying it in the material things I own. My stress has gone way down and I have so much more free time. So much so that I find myself watching hours and hours of TV or browsing the internet. Hmm... busyness has been replaced by laziness. Figures, that's the curse of the college student.

So, to add some stability to my ever-changing class schedule, I decided I need a morning and evening routine. This will ensure my goals of daily exercise and Japanese study become habits, and I will be able to prepare for the next day/keep my apartment clean.

Morning Routine:
8AM: exercise/shower
9AM: Japanese study/breakfast
10AM: walk to school

Evening Routine:
clean apartment/kitchen
write in journal
pick out tomorrow's workout video

That's all I have right now. I figure, hey, it's got exercise, Japanese, and some relaxing in there, that should be a good routine! And a clean apartment is the icing on the cake. Mmm cake... no, no cake! Bad thoughts! Sorry, I digress.

So yes, that's my new goal, to establish this routine thing. It'll be good to be exercising everyday again, even if it's only for 20 minutes.
