What you don't need after a workout: gulping a sports drink! Unless you're working out at an intense pace for hours, you don't need to refuel with a sports drink. A 12 oz. serving of Gatorade contains 330 calories! Instead of drinking your calories, stick to water and a small snack, like an apple with peanut butter, or carrots and hummus.

    I love drinking water after a workout. I just spent way too much energy to go and drink anything with calories so this is great advice!
