I was asked to bring corn muffins to a dinner party this week. I made the mistake of bringing home the leftovers. I must be very careful to limit that treat, but I am enjoying each bite. For extra fiber I have an ounce of dry coconut almost every day. These special treats make me smile. I do save them for after some exercise. Too much deprivation at this time of year only leads me to bigger 'sins'. I plan my treats so they fit into my calorie plan and so far they have fit just fine. Do you plan treats or do you have another method of navigating this food laden time of year?
