Someone needs to shout this to me every night. I was doing really well — I was sleeping at least 7, but usually 8 hours every night. Then I had a couple unavoidable bad nights, and it's led me down the path to sleep deprivation again. For those three weeks that I was actually sleeping, I didn't notice the great things that were happening, but I sure noticed when I quit sleeping. Now that I haven't been sleeping, I'm eating more. I'm exercising less. I'm feeling a little bit depressed and less present for my kids. It's yucky and I don't like it. Tonight, I have to sleep.
