Today's blog is a little different because I am beginning with a couple of my favorite quotes. Here goes...
"For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have."
- 2 Cor. 8:12, KJV
"It is our thinking, more than our outer circumstances, that determines whether we live lives of harmony and peace or pain and dispair."
- Marianne Williamson
My ideal Life Vision must include a well-prepared and trained mind that is not sway by everyday annoyannces and, particularily negative thinking. Such Vision requires a snapshot of all I can see myself becoming.
First and foremost, I ought maintain a steadfast belief that,... not only is this ideal Life Vision a possibility,... but with each passing moment, by taking even the tinyiest of baby steps, I can create that Life Vision into reality.
My thoughts influence my actions. My actions cannot follow any formulated plan without persistent mindfulness. A simple Biblical study on the word "mind" reveals the need of an unwavering hope. I do hope to succeed at all that I see before me, be it a clean, well-organized home or a slimmer, more beautiful body. Yes, Martin Luther, I, too, have seen the promised land. My path is sure and the Way is clear. I am on the Way and I see few, if any, obstacles to detour me.
If obstacles do come, I will be prepared to overcome them. I feel thinner and more organized already. Onward, this day awaits me.
