I've been a little MIA this week. I finally caught Dave's cold. So after working all day, all I want to do is lounge on the sofa.

I'm giving myself permission to let my body rest and heal. I'm trying not to feel guilty about that.

Today is the first day I've felt semi-human. I think I'll rest one more day and do a long, low-intensity workout tomorrow.

I barely made my 1,000 fitness minutes last month, and I'm already behind the 8-ball this month. What happens, happens, though. I'll do my best to be healthy and not sweat the numbers.

    I really believe rest and sleep are the best cure for many ailments and definitely for a cold. Hope you feel better soon!
