Okay, so I've been pretty busy this week and have not been successful in my daily (or every-other-daily) blog entry.

BUT!!!

This is what I have been successful at:

Getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night: 4/5
Tracking what I eat: 5/5
Cardio 3-5x/week: 5x Strength training 2x: 0
Drinking at least 8 glasses of water: 5/5
Taking my vitamins every day: 3/5
Staying active on the site: 5/5 (in some form or another!)

I've fallen in love with Zumba all over again and am still so grateful for the awesome teachers at my gym. It's been tough getting into strength training though. Argh. Whenever I work out though, I automatically drink a whole Nalgene bottle (equivalent to 4 glasses of water) and usually part of another bottle when I get home from the gym, so my water intake is at LEAST 8-10 glasses/day.

I really love that getting 7-8 hours of sleep is one of my goals and am truly happy getting into bed at night. I've started a new sleep/wake schedule as well and am loving getting up early.

I feel like I've been pretty successful this week so far. I've been getting in a ton of fruits and veggies-I think my best was 10 different fruits/veggies one day this week so far.

I'm still struggling with remembering to take my vitamins every day and am trying to make it a part of my morning routine. I figure that just may do the trick.

I make tracking and reading the daily articles on the front page a part of my morning routine and that gets me in the right mindset for the day. I'd like to spend some quality time later at night online so I can post comments to others and support them. I'm way overdue for some team love (that came out wrong, but you know what I mean) and owe a certain person (or two) a well thought-out email. This is on my to-do list. =D

I think I'm going to finish the week doing what I'm doing, but hopefully with at least some strength-training in! Also, I'm going to take some time to sit down and think about what I'd like to focus on next week as well. I do so love my lists.

    That's great! I take my vitamin right before bed with a large glass of water... that way I take my vitamin -- and the extra water wakes me up in the morning on time ;-)

can I just take a second from replying to go "A JEN BLOG, SQUEEEEEEEE!"
okayI'mdone. YAY.

Making the vitamins a thing took me time, too. I started by taking them first thing in the morning, and that was good, until I got up to longer runs in Couch to 5k. Then I would get gross vitamin burps while running, so I started packing them in my breakfast and lunch bag on gym days. Now I take them at my desk while having my breakfast on gym days, or first thing when I get up on non-gym days. You'll get there!

You're doing great!! You'll get the strength training going, too, I'm sure. But look how amazing you're doing with everything else! WAY TO GO JEN WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! emoticon
