SPREAD JOY

We can encourage others with our attitudes and words. When we look for ways to encourage others, we also can encourage them to be joyful. Others may see only the wrong things going on in their lives but we have the opportunity to help them find the good things as well. Rather than tell them not to be sad, ask them what things are going right for them right now and encourage them to be joyful.

Romans 15:32 “Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we can be an encouragement to others. We can help them find joy in their lives. We know they need to stop dwelling on what is wrong in their lives and focus on what is good and what blessings You have given them. Help us today to have the right joyful attitude You want us to have and to look for ways to spread joy to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
