Had Don & Kathy, Mike & Norma over for dinner last night. Mike made a great salad. Kathy made a deeelicious dessert. Dan made beef stroganoff and steamed broccoli so we had a yummy meal.

Kathy left a couple pieces of cake which Dan and I ate today – yuuummm. I’m almost afraid to ask for the recipe. I’ll end up adding 20 lbs to my weight in a month!

This morning I met the local Sierra Club folks and we did a good hike just outside of Big Oak Flat. Surprisingly foggy for most of the hike but we did get above the clouds for a bit.

This afternoon was the penultimate rehearsal for our concerts next week. Things are coming together nicely. I need to do some memorization on a couple songs just so I can look up more at the conductor.

Tomorrow we head back to the SF Bay Area for a few days. I’m meeting with Jenn for the day. Dan has a dr appt in the afternoon. Saturday will be Julia & Brandon’s holiday party. We’re taking our bikes and will ride Saturday morning. I’ll do a ride Sunday too. There may be some time in there to relax.
