Third Time is the Charm

This is actually my third time signing up for Sparkpeople. Each time, I've hit a rough patch and neglected to enter my food total, which discouraged me and ended up making my diet worse. However, things have changed. I have to get the weight off, for me. I have some goals to reach in the upcoming year and don't want to look and feel like this anymore. So, for good or bad, I'm entering my food totals and will lose this extra baggage I've been carrying. I've been letting my weight hold me back from enough of life and I can't do that anymore.

    I've been on Sparkpeople since 2008. I've fallen off the wagon a few times - every time it was from not recording my food. I'd eat alot of something, not record it and give up. This time, i've learned to record everything and think how great things willb e next year. You will feel better next year too! And you'll look great too because you feel better. Focus on one meal/snack at a time and record it. Even if it's not good food, you'll feel better knowing that this time you're being honest and recording it - and that's a change from last time!

    Just pick a new thing each week that you'd like to change (more water, less candy) and work on it hard all week and then add a new thing the next time. Small changes make big changes and with continuous improvements you'll hit your goals in no time. Lots of luck!
