I had a good workout today. I am still using the Biggest Loser video, however I am starting to be able to do the jumping jacks in short bursts and foot is tolerating it well. I wasn't challenged as much as I had been in the past so I added the 10 minute Sparkpeople kickboxing routine. I enjoyed it for two reasons. One, it was different and a little challenging. Two the movments require some balance which is the next main goal for my foot.
In talking with a friend yesterday she asked how I was doing. I shared that while I know I need to lose weight for my health, it is just an added benefit. Now that I am back in the routine of exercising, I found myself yesterday really missing it. I went for an easy walk to have some time outdoors. I have more self-confidence, I am able to focus more at work, am sleeping better and craving the foods that are good for my body.
