Just keep swimming, just keep swimming....

Im still working it.. made it to the gym 3 times in a row this week so far and have been staying within my calorie range for the past 4 days.. Im still tracking everyday regardless.. im not always good, but, I like knowing... Ive tracked 20 days in a row today! The tracking app I use gives me a lil shoutout every 5 days I tracked. Its very motivational... Ive also been at the gym atleast twice a week the past couple months. The week after thanksgiving I went off track for a bit, but, this time it was only about 5 days.. And i still tracked those days. Ive made a deal with myself to track each day no matter what! Even the days I go completely crazy and eat WAY too much, I write it down. Keeps me accountable.

I havent weighed myself in 3 weeks. I kind of want to, then I kind of dont... I was really bad one of the weeks and Im just scared to even look..I havent notice any change (good or bad) in how my clothing fits. So I dont think I gained... I think Ill wait another week though. Plus Ive been doing a lot more strength training than usual. Ive noticed more definition in my legs and arms.. Im gonna measure next week as well!

Things I need to work on:
- getting more veggies and fruits in my diet again. With all the goodies around this time a year its easy for me to track in a couple treats and not eat the good nutritious food I need. Whoops!
- water intake. WATER WATER WATER!! Ive been so bad about this lately... no idea why..

Hope you all are doing well!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon on tracking and geting the gym more.

emoticon your goals are smart and attainable!

emoticon don't be afraid of the scale. It doesn't define you. It is just a measuring tool. Measuring with a tape is a good idea too. You will see results. Keep up the great work!

emoticon water is SO important...well, you know that. I know you can reach your goal. Just take sips throughout the day, refill your bottle when it's empty.

    Happy Holidays!! emoticon emoticon

I need to get on a better weighing-schedule. I've been doing it everyday for a couple of weeks, but now that I have it firmly established in my mind that weight fluctuates all the time, regardless of how "good" I've been, I probably need to back off. But I can't imagine not doing it for three weeks! I think that might need to be a long term goal of mine - to wean myself off the scale and get to the point where I can avoid it for that long. :) Thanks for the inspiration!
