Back to the Gym we go!

Thursday, December 06, 2012

Boyfriend, our best friend and I have been faithfully going to the gym every day this week. We did not go today for two reasons. one because we wanted to give our bodies a rest and two, we are house sitting and have to walk the dog, something we dont usually do but made the best of it.

One thing that I have trouble with, and always have and probley always will, is tracking every single food. I usually make my decisions based upon the calories and if its enough for the calories thats in it or not.

however, i havent found this to be my worst problem. the worst problem i have ever had and always have had, is snacking and eating at night. I can go most of the day and not have anything but make sure that i have enough, and then im ready to go to bed and BOOM! I am suddenly starving and see no way out of it. The last two nights I have caved in, only because during the past two days, I have had mostly salad all day long. many salads and I know this is not filling enough for me. so needless to say, i am still tweaking my diet change.

I hope everyone has has a great start to Decemeber and am looking forward to seeing some results for the three of us!!!

You will definitely see results if you keep at it!
Tracking food is really hard for a lot of people. You are definitely not alone.

I too have a problem with eating before bedtime. I have started doing better because I am trying really hard to control my diabetes and by not eating before bed, it keeps my levels in check. Keep sparking and be blessed!!

Evening/night eating are my Achilles heel too! Lately, I've been experimenting with eating a big breakfast. No matter how much or little I eat, my stomach starts growling 3 - 3.5 hours after breakfast, so I thought this would be a silly, pointless exercise...but for some reason it's working. Eating backwards (big breakfast, moderate lunch, small dinner) used to sound awful to me, but now I don't find myself craving stuff at dinner, so I guess it's not so bad!

Keep trying new ways to approach your problem and eventually you'll hit on the solution. Even if it just seems weird. :)
